Duncan is a solicitor working primarily in the family and litigation team.
Duncan began his career working as a teacher aide in Chile before attending Otago University. He graduated in 2015 after completing a Law and Arts degree majoring in Spanish and having spent time studying in Madrid and Prague.
Duncan interned at the Public Defence Service before travelling to Cambodia to do a further internship for the Office of the Co-investigating Judge at the United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Trials.
In 2016 Duncan returned to New Zealand to join a local law firm where he trained in litigation work, both civil and criminal, and then in 2018 he joined Mackenzie Elvin Law as a litigator.
Duncan enjoys engaging with clients and thrives on the challenges of Court work. He is outstanding in the area of legal research, focuses on good planning, and his energetic and organised approach drives sound and durable outcomes.
